About Us

Pilot Damon Flick fell in love with hot air ballooning when he met his wife, the daughter of a balloon pilot. He began crewing in 1994 and became a pilot in 2002 just after college. Since then, he has logged hundreds of beautiful, safe flights and looks forward to hundreds more. In addition to the commercial balloon rating, Damon also has his private pilot instrument rating for single engine airplanes.

Crew Chief Lisa Flick was introduced to hot air ballooning by her father, Bill Childs of Wellsville, NY in 1981 at the age of 5. She has extensive crew experience helping with hundreds of flights.

Our children, Lindsay, age 21, and Devon, age 18, also help crew. Lindasy is also a hot air balloon pilot and Devon is a single engine airplane pilot. Family and friends also routinely crew.
